Background
Devon E. Fromer, M.D. earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colby College in Waterville, ME where she graduated Cum Laude in 2010. She then did research at Harvard School of Public Health, Washington University, and Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania working in the areas of public health, Alzheimer’s, and aging. In 2017 she earned her medical degree from Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. During medical school, she found her passion in vascular surgery, and she completed an integrated residency in vascular surgery at Cooper in 2022 and joined Surgical Care Specialists.
Dr. Fromer won the residency presentation competition at the International Aortic Summit in 2021, and the clinical research award from the Delaware Valley Vascular Society in 2022. She coordinated a multidisciplinary pathway initiative for type B aortic dissection at Cooper University Hospital and engaged in quality improvement in the surgical intensive care unit. She is active in teaching and resident education. Dr. Fromer has presented multiple presentations and publications. She is an active participant in the Vascular Quality Initiative Program, a continuous improvement process for the quality, safety, effectiveness, and value of vascular healthcare. Her special interests include:
